What you’ll do
A channel manager is responsible for growth of sales and profitability through maintaining and growing relationship with assigned channel partners based on geography, customer segment, and/or market and responsible for customer relationship improvement and customer base increase.
The channel manager reports to the commercial leader of Research & CGT Channel team of Cytiva Korea.
Establishes productive, professional relationship with key personnel in assigned channel partner accounts.
Coordinates the engagement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources in order to meet channel partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
Improve sales orders, margin, market share, customer happiness of given products, services, and business solutions
Develop channel operation strategy based on analysis of market situation and dynamics in channel operation.
Monitors and analyzes channel performance and evaluates sales funnels of assigned channel partners for accurate forecasting on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
Handles potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by encouraging excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
Leads solution development efforts that the best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all crucial company and partner personnel.
Guides and supervises channel partners to ensure channel partner compliance.
Proactively recruits new qualified channel partners based on company needs.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in life science related subject
+5 years of demonstrated ability in sales of products and services for life sciences research and/or manufacturing
+3 years of proven experience in channel management and indirect sales
Technical expertise in life science research domain
Communication and interpersonal skills
English communication and technical skills for data analysis and report generation.
Knowledge of market place and appreciation of business environment.
Team working skills including ability to coordinate and lead a project team to achieve goal.
