Danaher Corporation Clinical Sales Executive KR in Seoul, South Korea


The Clinical Sales Executive is responsible for managing and driving growth of the Cepheid business in their designated territory by:

  • Offering clinical and technical training among current and potential customers

  • Fostering KOL/KVL growth

  • Maintaining key customer/senior manager relationships within customer organization.

The Clinical Sales Executive will work through the entire hospital/laboratory network to ensure Cepheid products and services are known in every key department and by all key decision makers. This may include laboratory, infection control, quality assurance, executive staff and physicians to develop needs, gain consensus and close new business.

The Clinical Sales Executive will report to KR Business Manager.


  • Achieve sales targets in designated territory.

  • Provide regular presentations, education to customer and business partners – introducing product clinical values and techniques for product promotion.

  • Demonstrate product features to meet customers’ unmet needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute a consultative sale approach.

  • Understand and know customer, clinical environment, competitor and market to develop breakthrough strategies/plans to drive growth leveraging Cepheid solution.

  • Collect, analyze and share market information (public procurements, competitors, business partners).

  • Coordinate scheduling of other Cepheid resource utilization within the Territory including Applications, Marketing, Field Service Engineer(s), Customer Care and Office Management.

  • Host and assist with trade shows.

  • Manage customer data in company CRM.


  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time


Education and Experience (in years):

  • Bachelor / Master degree in medical or biotech

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the laboratory, medical or a related industry is required.

  • Preferably 5+ years related sales experience / distributor management experience preferred

Knowledge and skills:

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, including selling premium products with a track record of exceeding targets over multiple years

  • Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales.

  • Articulate and well-written.

  • Self-driven, creative, highly motivated with an ethical approach to achieving business goals.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, selling, public speaking, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.

  • High level of energy, engagement and responsibility.

  • Mobility (availability to travel frequently).

  • Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives & goals.

  • Experience with customer base within territory is a plus.
