What you’ll do
Support Korea Controller on operational controllership with the ownership of commercial accounts (Revenue, COGS, Def. Rev, Def. COGS, Contract Asset/Progress billing) – being the focal point of contact providing controllership guidance to Customer Service team/Commercial teams on their inquiries on various operational matters(order cancellation, credit billing, revenue recognition, and billing/invoicing, etc.)
Own the entire processes of budget management from forecasting/planning to closing; In charge of the annual cycle of Cytiva Budget Planning and monthly forecasting processes over the S&GA and other variable costs. Partner with business leaders to ensure the efficient use of capital and pursue the profitable growth. Lead the timely/accurate closing with continuous improvement on the efficiency of the process.
Support Korea Finance Director for Danaher/Cytiva global and Korea projects by setting up the Finance operations/processes, developing the business cases for the investment decision, and delivering the various analysis to shape/execute the key company initiatives.
Own the account reconciliation for commercial accounts, monitoring the open items/defects and proactively work to prevent future issues and high quality of balance analysis
Team up with the Shared Service Team to drive efficient/accurate closing process, focusing on the accurate revenue recognition compliant with global accounting policy
Support Korea controller for Danaher Sox testing, internal audit, external audit, and other compliance initiative to achieve the strong compliance culture as the foundation of the business
Be the focal point to Korean employees when it comes to AP process by closely working with Buy-to-Pay CoE team as an extension of cost and budget management
Who you are
University degree in finance, accounting, or related preferred
Minimum 810 years’ experience in accounting and finance planning & analysis, worked in an international business is ideal
Knowledge in Korea GAAP; US GAAP desirable
KI/AICPA/professional qualification preferred
Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Korean for both written and verbal.
Strong ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner
Experience of using Oracle, BI tools (Onestream), and Excel
