Danaher Corporation Key Account Manager KR in Seoul, South Korea
FAS position is responsible for driving the Technical and Scientific knowledge in day to day activities working closely with Commercial & Customer Care teams from Cepheid and Channel partners . It is a key position with emphasis on delivering the Commercial growth via technical commercial sales and channelizing the customer focus approach.
The role will focus on new assay growth and menu expansion, trainings and timely troubleshooting. This position takes ownership in driving the customer and enhances the experience in using Genexpert Instruments and Assays available on the platform.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Sales team from Cepheid and Channel Partners with pre- and post- sale technical activities with primary emphasis on growing the user base of diagnostic products.
Provides technical direction and support to customers & channel partner’s team on instrument operation, assay implementation, and maintenance of company products.
Establishes KPIs & metrics for function and successfully contributes to the revenue targets including menu expansion objective across the installed base.
Makes technical presentations, conducts & support product demonstrations for CP team and customers and support local product evaluations.
Works closely with Cepheid and CP Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and Service to identify and assess customer needs and provide high quality customer care.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, shares best practices.
Support and encourage the proper use of the corporate reporting system and compliance with our core values
Ensure and control escalation processes and proactive action in handling critical situations
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
Education and Experience:
Masters/PhD in Biology/Biotechnology/Clinical Microbiology
A minimum of 3 years in Molecular Diagnostics industry (3-5 year experience in Diagnostics is preferred)
Clinical Laboratory focus along with experience in molecular and microbiology techniques
Technical support and sales experience are must
Experience working with Channel partners is preferred.
Molecular Biology and RT PCR concepts understanding is must.
Must have experience working in the field as this role requires a high degree of travel
Knowledge and skills:
Knowledge of Cepheid’s diagnostic testing products and respective market
Excellent technical presentation skills for group and one-on-one presentations
Integrates with the sales team in planning and executing account strategies, numbers driven approach.
Networks with the scientific community to grow the business
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a group.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to lift 16 Kg
Results driven and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability achieve measurable goals
Ability to travel up to 80% with overnight stays
Valid driving license
English proficiency required
