Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services.
Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
Sales: Generate Leads/ Close Orders - 70%
Business Development: Understand Customer Technology and Process – 10%
Focus on Bottom-Line: Manage AR/DSO – 5%
Market Intelligence: Competitor Info/ Customer Info – 10%
Administrative – 5%
Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Computer proficiency and the ability to accurately enter data and generate reports
Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to travel 10% to 30% of the time, depending on the position and sales role
Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways
