Danaher Corporation Sales Representative Microbiology (South Area Spain) M/F in SEVILLA, Spain

Your mission will be:

  • To achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s Microbiology products. Personally, contacts and secures new business customers.

  • In line with the company’s policies and values, you will ensure the achievement of company’s targets in terms of revenue, margin and product mix, on strategic customers.

    You will be responsible for:

  • Selling and promoting moderately complex company products.

  • Implementing the sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals.

  • Participating in the establishment of sales targets and territory’s sales plan.

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products.

  • Researching sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.

  • Developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.

  • Expediting the resolution of customer’s problems and complaints.

  • Coordinating Sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.

  • Analyzing territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the organization.

  • Creating and managing a customer value plan for exiting customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.

  • Managing reports on customer needs, problem, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

  • Participating in trade shows and conventions.

This role will involve very frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly (up to 80%)

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Scientific Degree (pref. MicroBiology, Biotechnology) is required

  • Previous healthcare/medical commercial experience will be highly appreciated

  • Knowledge of MicroBiology or Molecular Biology

  • Results and sales oriented

  • Customer oriented

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
