Danaher Corporation Associate Finance Excellence Director, China in Shanghai, China

This job contributes to Danaher China Finance talent development and engagement success by providing expertise in the area of finance learning and development, competency building and talent management function. Supports finance internal move goals to attract develop and build a high-quality workforce.

Meanwhile, this role should further cultivate and foster strong DBS mindset at all levels of the finance community. To demonstrate the value of DBS in all dimensions, this role should work closely with the finance leadership team to identify finance related improvement opportunities and get actively engaged and involved in various projects/kaizens/workshops initiated by Corp/platform/Opcos.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead China finance talent annual assessment, cooperating with platform teams to drive talent development plan and cross platform opportunities.

  • Set up China finance talent development strategy and identify priorities & initiative.

  • Solicit internal training needs with the inputs from company strategy/finance functional competency module/VOC and others.

  • Formulate and compile annual training plan (DCFA and other training programs), leveraging internal finance expertise and external learning resources.

  • Create & design intermediate & advanced level training courses, and upgrade the curriculum leveraging past successful DCFA and other training programs in finance management.

  • Hold the standards for training aids development, including but not limited to course brief/Trainer guide and resources/Training deck or materials/assignments & practice after training.

  • Establish learning quality assessment and improvement system

  • Maintain and upgrade Danaher Finance Excellence APP

  • Actively drive DBS mindset and cultures in finance team by developing and organizing training, kaizen, sharing and CPs.

  • Support the finance leadership team to identify, consolidate and prioritize improvement opportunities, leverage our internal resources to drive or support these improvement activities on project bases to optimize the company’s financial performance.

  • Coordinate and Lead cross Opco finance projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, Finance or related major

  • Solid finance experience in multi functions or finance general management

  • Working experience in a fast-paced, cross-cultural international company is preferred;

  • People management experience is a must

  • Excellent communication skills to all levels

  • Strong logical thinking capability, has a whole picture to talent development and engagement

  • Good English skill is required

  • Proactive, result oriented, can work under pressure and good interpersonal skills

  • DBS CP and TTT are preferred.

  • Solid experience on financial project management
