Danaher Corporation Business Development Manager in Shanghai, China

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:

Achieve monthly and yearly sales target and objectives in territory assigned. Understand different customer’s applications and coach sales with professional knowledge of projects. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers. Search marketing opportunity and expand the market share in responsible territory. Daily sales management. Coordinate with colleagues and work as a team player.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:

  • External contacts: Customers, distributors and agency clients as required.

  • Internal contacts: Beckman LS China Commercial management team and associates, Clinical Flow management team and associates as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be hands-on and detail-oriented but also able to see the whole picture. Need to be able to think strategically and view the business from a senior leader standpoint. Must be very customer focused and have strong interpersonal and communications skills. Will need to be a quick study who can rapidly adapt to Danaher’s culture and gain the confidence of the Danaher organization. This person will be high energy and able to handle conflict. Will be an independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations.

EDUCATION & SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree and above in life science disciplines.

  • Good English Skills (at least in writing and reading).

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years of business working experience, including 2 years of supervisory roles.

  • 2-5 years working experience in front-line sales, marketing or application support preferred.

  • Experience within life science and IVD sector.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience in using or selling reagent business is plus

  • Familiar to access the Hospital and clinical segments.

  • Excellent communication skills and have good team spirit.

  • Have willingness to travel within China.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:

  • This position requires the strong ability to handle reagents business to increase win rate.

  • Have strong business acumen and insights of regional application filed, and lead sales to expand the new market share.

  • Be charged with increasing profitable sales revenue by improving sales ability of selling reagents and instruments solutions as well as application solution.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires frequently business traveling within China.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position function’s working type is remote.
