What you’ll do
Process development functions, including study design development, planning, execution, analysis, documentation, SOP preparation, reporting, and recommendations. Includes development of cell-based biological methods and assays for cell therapy workflows. Identify, evaluate and recommend new and existing technologies to improve workflows.
To manage inventory and activities of the CGT BSL2 lab.
Maintain, further develop, support and teach the CGT courses (CellT1, UNI2, etc.) at the Shanghai site. This will involve Marketing efforts, course material/equipment/consumable set-up and design, and working with each individual FastTrak site for course execution.
Provide deep subject matter technical expertise across the organisation, including strategic guidance and training of technical staff as necessary.
Work with the local CGT commercial teams to drive commercial opportunities for Process Development (PD) and Enterprise Solutions (ES) projects.
Establish and maintain close contacts and collaboration with customers (directly and through sales organization) to build a network of high profile customers by developing advanced applications with them and create or sustain Reference sites
Participate in industry meetings to build application roadmap, and assist with the reporting of data at scientific conferences, customer seminars and internal training events.
Who you are
Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, PhD preferred
5+ years’ experience in the cell therapy laboratory sciences, or related field.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills with strong analytical and process skills
Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
Strong knowledge and experience with CGT manufacturing processes. GMP experience and knowledge of Cytiva CGT products preferred
Strong desire to learn and grow with the dynamic CGT industry
