Danaher Corporation FPGA Design Engineer in Shanghai, China
Work on projects involving new products and also support work on existing products
Conduct preliminary analysis of design objectives to define optimum design criteria and operating characteristics of products.
Design and implement FPGA firmware in accordance with design criteria and performance objectives.
Responsible for design, coding, and functional tests of FPGA hardware/firmware systems.
Perform other related design assignments as required.
Work closely with platform architect, board designer and software engineer to understand/define the architecture requirements
Take technical ownership of the FPGA area; work with software engineers/electronic engineers to help to analyze the bug or quality issues in the existing product.
Help to do principle verification system design and implementation for new product development work.
Education, Background and Skill Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
Minimum 3 years' experience as a FPGA design Engineer in design field.
In depth knowledge with VHDL/Verilog, RTL design, FPGA design, and FPGA design tools.
In depth knowledge with various communication interface like I2C, SPI, UART, PCI-e, ect.
Excellent problem solving and hands-on debugging skills
Familiar with electronic tools like micro-scope, logic analyzer.
Familiar with simulation tools like modelsim or others and be able to write simulation code for verifying design logic and timing.
Familiar with NIOS/Microblaze system design is a plus.
Be good at C programing is a plus
Good Electronics Engineering knowledge particularly in embedded system hardware is a strong plus.
CET-6 or above. Demonstrate an ability to express technical matters adequately in English, both orally and in writing
