What you’ll do

  • Own Regional Demand Planning for China region: rigorously executing the S&OP cycle processes and ensuring that it delivers a clear, consensus-built sales forecast in volume and value, as well as value-adding commercial insights and analysis to business leaders in the Region. Managing consistent and timely communication between relevant cross-functional stakeholders and representing the Regional S&OP team in reviews with stakeholders; bringing insight, analysis, and leadership to support improvement activities in areas such as sales, product management, inventory, and manufacturing.

  • Lead the regional S&OP team to identify and address process issues with a focus on continuous improvement, identifying sub-optimal use of resources, sharing best practice, acquiring a thorough understanding of related metrics and their impact on operations. Ensure the team remains informed and updated on relevant planning theory, statistical methods and modelling as well as forecasting benchmarks. Take corrective action to ensure problems do not reoccur. Anticipation of obstacles and thinking ahead to next steps. Clear articulation of risks and opportunities as they relate to commercial business management.

  • Manage product demand and fulfilment to hit business target, drive a coherent order execution operation across supply chain and commercial operations teams for all business modalities.

  • Leading key supply chain KPIs (e.g inventory, OTD...) and other customer-centric activities to improve customer experience with strong end-to-end supply chain co-ordination capability (all relevant local and global business functions).

  • Partner with commercial stakeholders in driving business initiatives.

  • Support global operational activities and projects, and drive the regional deployment based on regional practice and needs.

  • Lead and coach a team of regional S&OP Demand Planners and order fulfillment leaders.

  • Create a strong relationship between China Demand Planning and broader Global Demand planning team, between China order fulfillment and global order fulfillment team.

  • Develop talents and leadership pipeline in the team.

  • Using DBS (or lean) to drive process improvement and operation excellence, CP certification (or lean certification) will be a plus.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in international trade, supply chain management or other relevant majors.

  • Minimum 10 year working experience in import/export business, demand planning,order fulfilment, supply chain management, production or commercial operation. People manager experience in MNC is desired.

  • Customer-focused, clear thinker with good business acumen.

  • Strong business acumen, financial and organizational skills.

  • Willing to take challenges and drive changes. Proven ability to deal with conflicts and pressure.

  • Strong influencing skills in a matrix organization, and good managerial skills on coaching and inspiration.

  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration, and influence at all levels within an organization. A driven people leader demonstrating optimism, who is approachable and humble.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
