Danaher Corporation Marketing Communications Specialist in Shanghai, China


The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:

  • Branding VI control (10%)

  • Work closely with global branding team to get latest VI (Visual Identity).

  • Promote VI materials to internal stakeholders.

  • Lead VI change to related assets, such as office decoration, website.

  • Initiate and execute branding activities, both internal and external.

  • National & regional event organizing (40%)

  • Work closely with Product Marketing team to select, organize, coordinate, and execute national & regional events.

  • Maintain event calendar within the region, review & control events budget, monitor the effectiveness and efficiency by implementing quantitative KPIs such as scoring and lead generation.

  • Expand brand awareness and generate lead through professional event design, workflow monitoring, material preparation.

  • Provide professional support to sales regional meetings, including workflow, graphics and artwork design, etc.

  • Supporting in internal big events, such as Kick-off meeting.

  • Continuously optimize event workflow and design.

  • Sales collateral & marketing asset management (40%)

  • Work closely with global Marcom team to get global marketing asset.

  • Plan, design, produce and manage marketing collateral, such as pull-up, brochure, gimmicks, video.

  • Manage marketing collateral storage and consumption process, to be user friendly and efficient.

  • Control the budget of marketing collateral, to be cost-effective.

  • Optimize collateral design style to demonstrate brand consistency.

  • Lead the digitalization of these assets.

  • General supporting (10%)

  • Distributing marketing information, ensure database maintenance to store marketing information; Support product managers to collect necessary data, distribution to respective parties.

  • Support product managers/sales managers to conduct effective marketing activities for brand building, new product launches, regional and local lead generation campaigns.

  • Assist in marketing internal process.

  • Manage regular reporting and tracking, interpret implications, report metrics appropriately.

  • External contacts for this position include exhibition contractor, exhibition forwarder, advertising companies, hotels, etc.

  • Internal contacts include all marketing department staff members as well as other department staff in other offices of the company.


The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.



  • Bachelor’s degree or above, in marketing or business

  • Excellent English skills in speaking, reading and writing

  • Strong writing skill in Chinese

  • Demonstrated skills in Excel and PPT for reporting and analysis work


  • At least 2 years marketing communications experience.

  • Agency experience is welcomed.

This position may require business traveling in a frequently situation (30%).


This position functions in a general office environment.
