Danaher Corporation Product Assistant Manager in Shanghai, China
As product owner, this position will take lead to develop and implement product strategy and annual business plans for assigned product lines, drive business growth above market average.
Managing the overall results of assigned product line or business portfolio, including product road maps, product life cycle management, product P&L including revenue/pricing/profit etc.,
Understanding overall market / customer needs, and developing needs-based segmentation
Participating and assisting in strategic planning, identifying new growth opportunity and driving growth for targeted segments;
Providing customer/sales support on new and existing products
Develop product promotion and commercialization plans
Guide/support sales with value based product/application knowledge/sales tools such as product training materials, TCO and fight sheet, etc.
Providing product training to internal/external sales/customers
Work with global and local team, take lead on new product commercialization for local market
Conducting VOC activities for new and renewed product projects, create and implement consistent processes to discover, gather, aggregate and prioritize the values of specific customer needs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Preferred B.S. in a Technical field, particularly in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering , MBA preferred but not required
Minimum of 3 years Marketing/Product Management experience expected; Preferred experience working for a large multi-national company
Strong economic and logic thinking to capture and develop value proposition;
Ability to multi-task & strong project management skills;
Ability to influence and drive consensus within cross function team –including Sales, R&D, Procurement, Production, Logistic and Legal;
Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office;
Fluent language skills (both written and verbal) in Mandarin and English;
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
