Danaher Corporation Sales Operation Director in Shanghai, China

  • Overall commercial operations support to Sales function from customer enquiries to order to delivery and cash collection. Manage and direct sales operation team and supply chain team to provide the professional support to field sales and clinical solutions and achieve competitive efficiency & accuracy on day-to-day operation, including order fulfillment, account operation, master data maintenance, order and product forecasting, planning, internal purchasing, delivery escalation and process improvement.

  • Lead funnel management and interact as key user to manage funnel size and healthy, participate in cross functional initiative to enhance pricing control and improve transparency and precision, establish pricing control process and standard work to manage cross region pricing performance.

  • Support in various sales management reporting, dashboard development, KPI setting to measure funnel health and sales productivity, and translating data into meaningful insights. Work on agile methodology to understand business needs and provide them the right data and reports or dashboards solutions.

  • Manage all Supply chain & Logistics activities with regards to planning quantity, inventory management and contribute towards local and global process improvements, support the strategic imperatives in collaboration with operations’ work-flow, with special focus on operational agility and capacity planning. Work with operation to ensure that the quality standards and business controls are in place and communicate system, policy and process changes.

  • Set up the logistic and warehouse system at the beginning. Provide supply chain & logistics leadership and maintain pro-active business partnerships with internal and external business partners.

  • Set-up and optimize process, systems, and resources in accordance with Cepheid policies and direction. Address business needs with programs (workflow/SOPs, tools, KPIs) developed with relevant functional teams and ensure their effectiveness by regular communication and feedback with Users and Stakeholders.

  • Responsible to continuously improve & optimize channel management policy include selection criteria’s, partnership and scorecard to grant long term strategic goals of the company. Manages channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.

  • Manage existing channel partner relationships in conjunction with the sales and sales leadership teams according to the set goals. Develop and evaluate for channel managements. Work with team to optimize channel management excellence aligned with business developing trend, brand, and sales strategies, and set clear priorities for team across channels.

  • Raise gaps and improvements on commercial operations policies and procedures, discuss improvement solutions with partners and implement follow up actions to optimize overall procedure. Drive sales through creating and implementing added value proposals to drive growth in sales and improve distribution.

  • Set up and optimize controlling tools to ensure proper implementation of policy and tools for efficient follow up with commercial operations team. Measure essential KPIs at organizational and individual level.
