I.General Summary & Overall Challenges

Radiometer Medical is seeking a Technical Product Manager to assist in the design and implementation of features and tests for our Point-of-care IT solutions. You need to be a senior software developer yourself, and will be working in a team with software developers, designers, SW testers and our quality and regulatory affairs staff, service organization and product owners. This position will play an important role in the overall product development. This position will work in a global team while leading a satellite R&D team in China, and report to the Senior ITS Manager in China and Global POC IT R&D Senior Manager based in Denmark.

II.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing and implementing state of the art software solutions with ability to own and drive a task, desire to drive/lead on a task force covering the complete SDLC.

  • Defines Product, System, Components objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

  • Definition of the overall testing strategy.

  • Implement and develop automated test practices

  • Add new tests and expand the existing automation test suite

  • Collect and create test data for functional and non-functional testing.

  • Run functional and non-functional tests

  • Write requirements and create scenarios for performance testing

  • Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis is desired.

  • Closely collaborate with R&D leaders in headquarter and lead the R&D team in China to complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; lead team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

  • Work with POC IT commercial product managers to collect customer feedback, understand customer needs, translate customer needs to solution design, and conduct customer validation for new system releases.

  • Ensuring full compliance with relevant work practices, as required by authorities for medical device product development

  • Ensuring full compliance with Radiometers quality system.

  • Demonstrate Danaher values and adopt DBS tools across team.

III.Requirements for this position (“What” the candidate can do)

a) Formal Education

  • Four-year-degree (BE/BTech) / Masters (ME/MTech/MCA) in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent.

b) “Must Have” Competencies / Skills / Experience

Competency 1:

  • 7-10 years of software development experience with 5+ years .Net (C#), Microsoft Certified Professional will be highly desirable

  • Must have hands-on experience with SW development using C#.NET

  • Must have development experience on ASP.Net MVC web applications.

  • Experience on Memory tracer tools, multiprocessing, Static analysis, Integration into HIS/LIS – HL7 Protocol, communication, interconnection will be added advantage.

  • Experience with Multithreaded programming will be added advantage.

Competency 2:

  • Having 7-10 years of testing experience.

  • 5+ year Hands-on experience with MS tools and technologies such as Coded UI with strong c#, MVS , MTM, MS-Test, Boost, Nunit, FxCop , CI/CD setup and execution

  • Hands on experience on automation framework development.

Common requirement in both competency:

  • Experience and domain knowledge within the medical devices development industry would be an advantage.

  • Experience in a customer interface dialogue would be highly desirable.

  • Possess strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with TFS

  • Technical knowledge and experience, ideally in areas of software development for clinical and medical device development.

  • Experience with agile software development processes would be an advantage.

  • Experience of leading software development teams and collaborating with global team will be highly desirable.

c) Language

  • Good in English written and fluent in English negotiation

  • MS Office/business use

  • SW toolchain knowledge and experience

  • Data management and analysis

e) Travel (required estimated % of time)

  • Travel 10%
