1. GENERAL SUMMARY: A member of Asia sourcing team take responsibility of any commodities (Electronics/Plastic/Machining/Optical) in sourcing team to support the business for both Shanghai and Thailand factories, and also water platform business unit. Electronics management experience is preferred. 2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) New project involvement : Responsible for material/supply chain preparation on NPI with R&D team, coordinate with sourcing peers to provide BOM material readiness on new product launch. 2) Supplier Management : New supplier identification, part sample request, design equipment procurement support Identify, develop &qualify suppliers to support the commodity low cost region sourcing strategies ; Suppliers business and performance review to achieve Year on Year QDCI target, Develop and improve supplier’s QDCS performance, solve the quality issue and emergency of material shortage 3) Project Management: Manage any kinds of projects ,which are including cost reduction projects management like Localization/VAVE or supply risk mitigation projects management or new projects coordinate for the entire team 4) Internal and External Support : Work with the manufacturing sites, R&D, and customers to develop, communicate, implement and track commodity and supplier sourcing strategies in support of segment requirements, including the smooth and timely introduction of new programs; Business Unit Team support : OI supplier Audit and price negotiation 5）Manager assigned other tasks. 3. REQUIREMENTS: 1) >8 years sourcing experience, Bachelor degree in mechanical or commercial/business related 2) Be familiar with any of commodities, like electronics ,the Mechanical components, plastic injection parts & tooling, chemistries, etc. 3) Knowledge of the commodities, including general market conditions and trends, supply base, business terms, industry knowledge, etc. 4) Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work and collaborate with all levels of management. 5) Strong relationship management and negotiating skills. 6) Good English skill on both spoken and written. Good skills in MS office software applications. 8) Fast learner, team-worker, self-motivate and detail oriented. Strictly conduct the supplier code of conduct, Integrity 9) Engineering background is a plus 4. MEASUREMENT: 1) NPI/TPI supply chain readiness 2) PPV and LCR sourcing activities/saving accomplishment 3) DBS skills
