POSITION TITLE: Sr. Analyst - FPA
REPORTS TO: HGM FPA Manager
FUNCTION: This position will support both HGM FPA Manager and EAO Accounting Manager on daily operating activities
BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Handle all transactions in OTL and PP&E modules, including closing related submodules in HK, SGP and MAL books, preparing journal entries, maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts, providing records of assets. (45%)
Update key provisions on quarterly basis. (5%)
Prepare HGM monthly closing package and involve in annual budget planning (45%)
Conduct ad hoc analysis (5%)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
Main responsibilities and key activities:
FINANCE , ACCOUNTING & REPORTING
Responsible for PP&E module closing, new asset creation, disposal, annual FA physical count
Responsible for OTL/Demo module closing, STL classification, OTL performance tracking and impairment assessment
Update E&O reserve and review with logistics team
Calculate warranty reserve and get reviewed with supervisor
Complete related account reconciliation correctly and timely on monthly basis
Assist with internal/external auditors through smoothly audit and provide requested data
Handle problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors
Involve in month-end closing and provide variance analysis report on actual performance for HGM
Engage in monthly forecast and annual budget plan, prepare HGM consolidation report based on regional’s submission
Interact with regional finance team and design template to facilitate regions' package submission
Perform key data analysis, include revenue, margin, cost, expense, working capital, Headcount
Carry out deep-dive analysis on expense items, follow up with regions for forecast modification and promote COA across HGM
Support commercial/finance leader for various management reports and other ad-hoc financial analysis

Internal contacts include BSSIT, CAS, Sales, Admin, regional Finance Leads and Corporate Finance contact.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.
EDUCATION: Finance, Accounting, or Economics education background.
LANGUAGE: Good communication (written and spoken) skills in English
COMPUTER: Good Microsoft Excel skill, Knowledge in Oracle/SAP is a plus
EXPERIENCE: This position requires more than 5 years working experience as accountant and financial analyst.
Familiar with US GAAP
Communicates accurately with internal and external contacts
Be able to work under pressure, self-controlled
Works reliably with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals
Recognizes and leverages opportunities to enhance own performance
Big 4 experience is a plus
This position hardly requires business traveling.
This position functions in a general office environment
