Danaher Corporation Strategic Access Manager in Shanghai, China

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Maintain and develop effective communications with key stakeholders in health management governments and hospitals, especially hospital director to develop good advocacy plan, understand local policy movement and trends to support company’s biz decision and establish a good corporate image.

  • Build/update database of key stakeholders in hospitals, and monthly report to management team

  • Implement company projects on targeted stakeholders smoothly and effectively, build up strong partnership with Key Accounts in region, and build good Brand Image.

  • Obtain feedback and information from stakeholders and project participants timely and provide suggestion to management team for on-going or future improvement.

  • Cooperate closely with local Sales team and Market Access team to share information and project progress.

  • Follow up on reimbursement, health, and price-related policies in a timely manner; analyze the impact of policies; respond to the company's demands; and promote scientific decision-making by government departments.

  • Keep abreast of trends in assigned provincial health charge/payment policies and health care policies, as well as interpret and analyze opportunities and risks for product lines.

  • Ensure products succeed in market by obtaining the optimal prices for products and minimizing the price risks for in-marketing products in the responsible regions.

  • Participate in the formulation of the medical charge/payment policy working goals (transparent procurement, package charge/payment policy, payment ceiling, etc.) for each product line, and implement these goals.

  • Well understand and analyze Management team’s expectations and needs in tendering, pricing and reimbursement; establish close working relationships with Market Access team and provide professional consulting to Management team.

  • Develop and define pricing and reimbursement priorities, drive strategies and recommendations for tendering, pricing and reimbursement activities.

  • Other related work assigned by GM.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, preferable major in molecular biology, biochemistry, medicine and/or public health and economics, marketing

  • Ability to do policy research and product impact assessment independently, and communicate effectively by verbal and written in fluent Mandarin, English skill preferred

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of related work experience with at least 3 years in healthcare industry

  • Must be independent and flexible carrying out working activities and effective at building relationships internal and external of Cepheid

  • Pro-active, matured Self-motivation, Strong Will-to-Win

  • Clear-thinking, open-minded, effective communication both external & internal

  • Analytic and ability to transfer data & information into professional insight in verbal and written

  • Evidence-based customer communication with decent professional manner

  • Good PowerPoint presentation skill

  • Strict align with Danaher compliance

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires business traveling in a frequent situation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position functions in a general office environment.
