Danaher Corporation Talent Management Leader, Dx China in Shanghai, China

POSITION SCOPE

The Talent Management Leader will be responsible for initiating, implementing and improving the talent management strategies and infrastructure, Dx internal communications, and enable Danaher culture to develop and engage talents to drive business growth. The key responsibilities include but not limited to talent pipeline development & review, learning and development plan and action, leadership program design and launch, performance and engagement cycle management, DE&I and internal communication management.

MAIN FOCUS OF JOB ROLE

  • Manage Platform/ OpCo organization talent review, consultation and consolidation, succession review, talent chess boarding, and talent pipeline build up to increase the numbers in senior leader pool and reduce succession white space.

  • Develop & implement leadership/competency program to enhance entry/middle level/target group of talents’ capabilities to unleash talents’ potential.

  • Develop annual learning and training plan, deliver on target to support business needs, talents D4G and org culture building.

  • Provide proficient guidance and consultation on performance management, engagement cycle management to drive a high performance and engagement environment. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting employee engagement and retention.

  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify talent needs and create targeted solutions to address them.

  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent management programs and make data-driven decisions.

  • Coordinate with Danaher Corporate, lead platform level DE&I iniatives to drive for DHR shared purpose and culture.

  • Set up platform level internal communication SW and implementation plan to support change management and engagement.

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent management and proactively introduce innovative approaches to the organization.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as universities, professional organizations, and learning organizations.

SUCCESS MEASUREMENT

Achievement of targets – PGP, critical roles’ talent funnel, senior leader internal fill rate, overall Dx platform engagement score, DE&I goal…etc. Continuous development and growth of the China team from talent development, leadership and engagement. Apply DBS to improve the TM operational excellence, effective management of the expense budgets allocated, improve ROI of leadership program. Collaborative working with Opco business and HR team, Danaher corporate and other parts of the business and HR team.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in talent management, human resources, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing talent management programs and strategies.

  • Stand for DBS culture and champion continuous improvement

  • Strong understanding of talent development, and retention best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in using HR technology platforms and data analytics tools

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
