What you’ll do

This individual is a mentor and leader within the QA discipline that has a passion for data analysis. The Principle Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for extracting, combining and coordinating multi-system data sources to evaluate product performance and lead investigations. This includes working with multi-site management teams and other members of the value chain. This role will be required to draw on strong knowledge of quality concepts, analytical tools, and ERP systems (i.e. SAP/Oracle).

The Principal Quality Assurance Engineer identifies and leads process improvement initiatives and provides direction within the organization through interactions with multi-discipline project teams, management, customers, and external auditors.

  • Manage and lead projects and process improvements to ensure predictable processes across all product lines

  • Identification and implementation of appropriate statistical techniques to monitor process performance

  • Pull backend system data and create report visualizations

  • Review MRB, defect and complaint data to identify trends, draw parallels and drive process and product improvements

  • Participates in special projects as they arise, including efficiency projects, streamlining of documentation, cross-site projects

  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting & business analysis

  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues as related to the position responsibilities

Who you are

  • Bachelors degree is required, preferably in business, engineering, or other technical field. MBA or master's is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with high levels of uncertainty and multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Moderate to Advance capability with SQL and Oracle database queries.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Tableo or equivalent data analysis software

  • Strong ERP experience, Oracle experience preferred

  • Ability to develop, coach and guide a diverse team in execution, strategy, and realization of functional goals that inspires others

  • Strong oral/written communication skills; analytical skills; high level of attention to detail
