The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the plant equipment management planning/execution and equipment optimum uptime. As the SME in equipment responsible for achieving World-Class maintenance and reliability, continuous driving equipment improvement. Setting culture to be Win with the best team by learning and coaching as a train the trainer and achieve strategic growth goals through driving Lean manufacturing.
This position is part of the Facilities & Maintenance Team and will be located in our Tuas, Singapore. You will be reporting to our Senior Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
In project phase assist new equipment starts up and facilities hook-up to support production for equipment acceptance, and collaborate with advanced manufacturing and process engineering to engage in the validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) of all relevant equipment.
Supports manufacturing equipment operations in the plant in the scope of automation and instrumentation.
Establish standard work/ risk assessment for equipment maintenance, including corrective maintenance, spare part management and instrumentation calibration management.
Analyse equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions, develop maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.
Implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and asset management through CMMS system and optimising PM and spare parts management.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronics /Mechanical /Mechatronic / Control & Automation/ Power Engineering.
Experience working in cleanroom environment, knowledge with 5 years and above in equipment management for semiconductor plant.
At least 5 years of strong relevant experience in troubleshooting, analytical skills and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment regime.
Able to work independently and an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.
Install new equipment, knowledge of industrial equipment and ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in technical support for PLC, HMI & SCADA/DCS systems.
Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction Kaizen activities to sustain and improve all equipment performance to develop and drive Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
