Lead cross-functional team to manage SPC implementations - 60% -Lead a cross functional team from different regions to define the scope of SPC programs for multiple Pall manufacturing sites. -Lead 6-sigma black belt and manufacturing site Quality and Engineering Teams to kick start and implement SPC project in Japan site, follow by sites in US. -Oversee and drive the implementation of SPC software in Japan, US and China manufacturing sites. -Oversee and align the SPC system and implementation across multiple manufacturing sites.
•Metrology Calibration & Monitoring – 10% -Lead multiple manufacturing sites to set up robust metrology calibration and quality monitoring system (such as GR&R, Long Term Stability). -Lead cross functional team and manufacturing sites to align on metrology quality monitoring and control system.
•Documentation Management -- 5% -Define and create policies, procedure and manual for SPC and metrology monitoring and control.
•Supplier SPC and Quality Management – 10% -Lead cross functional team to implement SPC and quality improvement program in key suppliers.
•Quality Improvement Activities -- 10% -Work with relevant manufacturing sites to implement systems to meet specific customer needs, such as Process Control System, electronics CoA, ship-to-control etc.
•KPI reporting – 5% -Develop a global reporting system to monitor the health of SPC and metrology stability and capability.
•Able to coordinate and lead activities with multi-functional personnel in different regions to achieve the desired outcomes.
•Project management – Must be a team player and result oriented. Strong capability to oversee and manage projects, track progress, follow up on actions and hold individual accountable.
•Communications – Good communication skill in both speaking and writing with all levels within the organization. Must able to communicate well with personnel in overseas manufacturing sites.
•Organized - Ability to multitasking and to organize efficiently with good time management. Identify urgent and critical issues and set priorities. Must able to manage and work with personnel from overseas with different time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science. •Minimum 7 years relevant working experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing environment. •Knowledge and experience in SPC and metrology. 6 Sigma or SPC trained will be an added advantage. •Knowledge of supplier management is a plus. •Proficient in software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. •Good English communication skills both in speaking and writing. Additional language (such as Japanese and Chinese) will be an added advantage.
