Position: Regional Key Account Manager, BioPharmaReport to: General Manager, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences

The Regional Key Account Manager(KAM) will drive high-level collaborations and partnerships with BioPharma customers, through a strong knowledge of the workflows relevant to the Beckman Life Science product portfolio. This position will manage cross-platform commercial operations for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences at said accounts in Singapore through revenue growth and commercial execution. This KAM will elevate Beckman’s perception in the account by penetrating key decision makers. The KAM will have responsibility of owning the account strategy and implement the strategy into an action plan. Collaboration with Cytiva, PALL and Life Sciences Instrument Group (LSIG) Operating Companies(OpCo) to maximize the business from the selected Key Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:Continuous Customer Discovery

  • The Manager is responsible to map the entire Customer ecosystem including Wholly Own Subsidiaries & Identify Key Stakeholders

  • Establish Important Customer Sites (Center of Innovation, Manufacturing, R&D) to help local sales penetrate and discover new opportunities

  • Understand R&D Pipeline & Workflows relevant to the customer

  • Have a strong pulse on the customer’s strategic initiatives, partners, future acquisitions, and develop relationships with innovation groups

Beckman Coulter Life Science Discovery with Customer Focus

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Beckman Coulter Life Science Portfolio, the workflows where Beckman has strong solutions, and the synergies between Beckman & the Customer (Drug Pipeline, R&D, Manufacturing)

  • Understand existing relationships, business to date, competitive landscape

  • Define potential with account (immediate, midterm, and long term) for all product lines & services

  • Incorporate Account in VOC to BU on product line expansion and development

  • Establish Early Adopters & Reference Sites for new product launches

Align with Internal and External Stakeholders (including Cytiva, PALL and LSIG) on All Strategic Initiatives (Workflow Sales Strategy, Contracts Negotiations, Service, etc)Builds Account Strategies, Playbook, and Growth Bridge

  • Build an Account Strategy in collaboration with Service, Field Marketing, Commercial Marketing, BU, Sales, and Distribution Partners

  • Translate strategies to local tactics and actions (long term and short term)

  • Leverage other Danaher Operating Companies

  • Maximize Sales & Service Revenue through Workflow Excellence


  • Demonstrated track record of success as a Life Science Sales Representative or Sales Manager (minimum 5 years of experience, minimum 3 years of experience with Advance Science Degree)

  • MS or PhD in Scientific Discipline Preferred

  • Ability to set regional strategies with short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals

  • Ability to communicate and influence change at with senior level customer leadership

  • Ability to collaborate and operate effectively in a Matrix environment including working with Cytiva, Pall and LSIG OpCo.

  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data and use to identify opportunity

  • Advanced negotiation skills; able to negotiate global high value agreements

  • Ability to travel up to 30% if needed

  • Driven to achieve results and goals

  • Analytical and fact-based, but able to draw on knowledge and experience

  • Creative and independent thinker that is able to remain open minded

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent time and territory management habits with ability to make pragmatic decisions in a timely fashion.

  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and SFDC

  • Ability to adapt to work effectively in an environment of change, uncertainty, and ambiguity.
