Role: Regional Service Sales Manager, SEAK

Location: Singapore

Summary:

Customer Care is a frontline team that ensures our customers success across the world, by delivering a comprehensive set of support services from our Technical Support Centers across the regions to Field Services delivering onsite repair and maintenance for Cepheid systems.

The Service Sales Manager is a key role for the organization in driving revenue matrix improvements, support commitment/continuity with channel partners/customers, contract penetration, processes, defining service sales programs and delivering changes and financial reporting to key stakeholders. This role will collaborate closely with APAC Customer Care leadership, SEAK CC leadership, Regional Service Managers and Commercial leadership to drive the service sales opportunities & deliveries for SEAK region.

In charge of sales matrix and visibility on opportunities, the regional sales manager will have to communicate cross-functionally and to top management on the key deliverables. As part of a small team with high expectations, this role will require autonomy, not only for planning and scheduling activity but also by doing and delivering.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting the customer care & commercial organization in reaching business goals by delivering high growth numbers and supporting growing customer base in the region.

  • Develops and maintains clinical communications to drive and support appropriate product utilization.

  • Interact and drive key opinion/visionary leaders in field of expertise for commercial support/use.

  • Provide regular updates on sales matrix, contract visibility/penetration by each market.

  • Utilization of CRM, SAP, SFDC as sales tools to support sales activities & visibility to manage business review expectations on yearly KPIs.  

  • Collecting, analyzing and sharing market information (public procurements, competitors, business partners)

  • Support commercial marketing organization with launch and rollout of new products and services as needed within the territory.

  • Understand and know clinical environment, competitor products – continuous development of the knowledge.

  • Participate in industry symposia, bio-medical meetings, and monitoring the industry landscape.

  • Participate in commercial activities with non-clinical stakeholders.

  • Develops strategic plans to drive business.

  • Develop and manage local partner sales targets and KPIs, evaluate ASP/Distribution partner performance and drive partner revenue achievement.

  • Use continuous use of DBS principles, Lean, Six Sigma Principles and problem-solving process, daily management to bridge the gap between company and end users, with zero tolerance on compliance deviations.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

  • Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience OR

  • Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.

  • Desired

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in business, medical or biotech

  • 5 years or above of sales & product / distributor management experience is strongly preferred

Knowledge and skills:

  • Previous experience in the diagnostic or medical industry is required, preferably in molecular diagnostic.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, selling, public speaking, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.

  • Creativity, high level of motivation, ethical approach in achieving business goals

  • High level of energy, engagement and responsibility.

  • Experience user of Microsoft Office such as Excel, Presentation & Word, Sales Force.com, or any Sales CRM tool preferably.

  • Mobility (availability to travel frequently when required).

  • Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities.

  • Ability to adapt and react to dynamic and changing circumstances in the market.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives & goals.

  • Good verbal and written skills in English.

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Healthy and Fit to support service sales business as and when required.

Role requires travel of up to 30% which include international travel depending on needs.
