Danaher Corporation SEAK Business Development Manager POC in Singapore, Singapore

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for growth and expansion of sales in Point-of-Care and Alternate sites across SEAK region. Identify market requirements and opportunities. Drive strategy and plan execution to gain share and adoption to achieve sales target in this segment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and assess market potential, competition analysis, identify targets and size of opportunities

  • Establish and drive an effective business development strategy and roadmap to maximize growth in POC/Alternate sites across the region

  • Identify key opportunities and initiatives that support business strategy

  • Ensure understanding and transparency of, and alignment with, market requirements

  • Build & maintain case studies, reference customers and other related commercial activities

  • Build strong network with key stakeholders, KOLs and key accounts

  • Support local direct sales and channel partner teams to ensure successful program rollout and to ensure consistent sales strategy execution for the business

  • Work with the product development and product marketing teams to provide market feedback to help in defining the product roadmap and marketing tactics

  • Support the launch of new products in this segment in line with Cepheid strategies

  • Adapt global Cepheid sales initiatives to accelerate penetration and adoption in POC/Alternate sites and develop specific campaigns

  • Work with country teams for effective plan implementation and track performance for objective achievement and countermeasure when required

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related work experience OR

  • Master’s degree in field with 8+ years of related work experience

  • 5+ years prior experience in IVD field in marketing and/or sales

Desired:

  • 5+ years business/market development, and channel management experiences in diagnostic medical industry.

  • Experience in microbiology and virology preferred

  • Excellent business sense, creative thinking, strategy planning capabilities in market research, and commercialization process.

  • Strong capability in communication, cooperation and teamwork.

  • Energetic, Ambitious, Open, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skill, target oriented, Closing Skills.

  • Excellent skills in written/spoken English, with open and professional communication style

  • Demonstrable experience in product management including launches and end of life
