Job Title: Senior Customer Master Data Analyst

As a Senior Customer Master Data Analyst, you will support and reinforce the company’s vision of SAP and Salesforce.com as an enterprise sales productivity tools. You will also have SAP Customer Master responsibility. You will help formulate, implement and support the best business practices of the organization. You will be directly accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the customer data in the Salesforce.com and SAP systems. You will deliver recommendations and detailed execution plans for ongoing improvements of our standardized best business practices related to Customer Master Data (CMD). You will be instrumental in keeping the system useful and relevant to the sales users and management.

The Senior Customer Master Data Analyst is responsible for CMD integrity and adherence to governance standards. This role is a tactical focal point for CMD business processes, root cause analysis, auditing, data cleansing and drives awareness of CMD within the business. The Senior Customer Master Data Analyst will also document CMD business processes and provide training to new team members. These CMD processes support planning, manufacturing, commercial, logistics, order processing, data integrity, marketing and sales organizations.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and execute CMD creation, updates and analysis using various systems including SAP and Salesforce.com to include set-up and maintenance of customer accounts and pricing.

  • Assist in the development and enforcement of global standardized business practices for data entry

  • Implement and enforce CMD standards and guidelines for data that does not meet the established business requirements

  • Ensure inbound data has been scrubbed and formatted to meet minimum requirements prior to input into Salesforce.com and SAP

  • Act as a key contact for problem analysis and resolution relating to CMD accomplished through daily monitoring of shared email Inbox or direct contact from key internal customers including Contracts, Sales Operations Specialists, Order Management, Corporate Accounts, Sales, Service, or other functional experts.

  • Help to maintain a high degree of data integrity, quality and consistency.

  • Identify weaknesses within processes and follow-up with recommendations to department supervisors.

  • Work on specific projects as required

  • Review, draft and assist with negotiating a wide variety of non-commercial and commercial contracts, such as:

  • Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales and Service agreements, Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal customers regarding contract terms and processes.

  • Separate business and legal issues and drive both to closure.

  • Organize and maintain library of forms, provisions, templates and other resources.

  • Professionally and diplomatically resolve issues regarding internal customer concerns and other matters, as necessary.

  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improve contract workflow.

  • Apply excellent problem-solving skills and judgment to assist in managing corporate risk.

  • Identify best practices to influence continuous improvement in the organization.

  • Provide additional support on special projects, as needed.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education or Experience (in years):

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in IT or engineering)

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 5+ years of related experience with data entry/administrative or equivalent work or +3 years of experience working with commercial contracts and related terms and conditions.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Especially Excel).

  • Must have a high level of accuracy (over 98%) for data entry tasks.

  • Rigorous work with systematic methodology -- accuracy and attention to details are a must.

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and independent decision-making skills.

  • Excellent data manipulation skills. Ability to understand and navigate database systems.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills (passion for data and accuracy).

  • Good understanding of Master Data Business Processes and Data-base Systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient computer skills, including SAP Master Data, Salesforce.com, and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint).

  • Knowledge of standard contract terms

  • Uses knowledge of how related teams impact achievement of objectives. Works closely with business units, as necessary, while maintaining independent judgment and decision-making skills in accordance with established policies and guidelines.

  • Gathers and analyzes data to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent. Will use independent judgment and discretion in developing solutions to address a variety of issues regarding contracts and related problems of basic scope and complexity.

  • Serves as a lead, may allocate work. Provides subject matter guidance to more junior team members.

  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new business activities or issues.

  • Ability to adjust to changing job requirements and priorities in order to meet dynamic needs and workflow.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Must demonstrate a high degree of organizational skills and professionalism.

  • Strong presentation and written and verbal communication skills; strong project management skills.

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Ability to work in an office environment

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience preferably in Sales Operations, Customer Service or Finance.

  • Experience interacting with the following departments - Legal, Sales and Finance.

  • Experience supporting a sales team.

  • Experience using Salesforce.com and SAP.

  • Microsoft Excel knowledge and project managements skills a plus.
