We currently offer the following position in our office in Singapore which will be hybrid.

Overview

The Senior Imaging FPGA Testing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing rigorous testing procedures and protocols for our FPGA-based systems. The primary focus of this role is to verify and validate the performance, functionality, and integrity of FPGA designs within our projects. The engineer will collaborate closely with design and development teams to detect and resolve issues during the product development cycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Test Plan Development: Create detailed testing plans, strategies, and test cases to evaluate FPGA functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements.

  • Testing and Validation: Perform comprehensive testing of FPGA designs using various testing tools and equipment to ensure that they meet specified criteria, including speed, reliability, power consumption, etc.

  • Issue Identification and Debugging: Identify, record, and diagnose issues in FPGA designs, ensuring thorough documentation and efficient resolution in collaboration with the development team.

  • Test Automation: Develop and implement automated testing procedures to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality assurance processes by evaluating the FPGA designs against industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, development, and cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless integration of FPGA designs into our products.

  • Reporting: Generate clear and concise reports on testing results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of FPGA technologies, FPGA development tools (Xilinx, Altera, etc.), and FPGA testing methodologies.

  • Proficiency in using FPGA testing equipment and software.

  • Experience with scripting and programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, VHDL, Verilog).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
