Provides support to the supply chain team on the following roles and responsibilities.
Assisting the Supply Chain Analyst on Purchase Orders (PO) and Quantity Contract (QC) matters:
Update suppliers’ Purchase Order (PO) committed dates into SAP.
Work with Suppliers on Past Due orders, and update into SAP.
Update Quantity Contract commitment dates into SAP.
Place orders for supermarket Kanban replenishment items, packaging materials and bulk items.
Raise and get approvals for Inventory Adjustment Forms, Goods Movement Form (GMF) to ensure SAP inventory is accurate.

Supplier On-Time-Delivery Report
Open PO Report
Assisting the Supply Chain Analyst to update Kanban Board, IMAG and Visual Management Boards:
Placing Kanban cards onto Kanban board according to delivery schedules.
Updating and Printing of Kanban cards
Maintain and update SAP database (ie. Container size, QPC, Rack location, supplier information).
Maintain weekly updates on Visual Management boards.
Assisting the Supply Chain Analyst on Supplier Safety Stock management.
Track suppliers' stock level to ensure agreed stock is maintained
Measurement of Performance: Supplier Safety Stock Report
Enquiring information on shut-down period from suppliers for major festive periods (ie. Summer holidays, Christmas, Chinese New Year)
New Product Introduction (NPI) Management / Module Assembly Transfer
Support Supply Chain Analyst for supermarket setup and create kanban cards for new items.
Supports and participates in DBS Kaizen or Department Initiatives events.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Team Leader or Purchasing Manager.
Min. 1-2 years or more of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing and process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in manufacturing processes related to Mechanical commodity and Packaging processes.
Experience in NPI sourcing and product transfer.
Ability to comprehend engineering drawings independently for the purposes of vendor qualification & selection
Knowledge in SAP and MS Office.
