The opportunity

The VP Sales Asia will lead the region's Semiconductor, Macro-Electronics & Display teams across APAC (Excl. China). He or She will aim to achieve in region core growth and standard margin targets, manage / support distribution partners (Region Semicon/Macro-E, Display) and Support (GSA) execution. They will drive collaboration with technical support and product management resources – passionate about creating new value, achieving competitive differentiation and profitable growth for MicroElectronics

Key responsibility:

  • Develop and Implement sales strategies & plans to achieve key financial metrics (orders, shipments, pricing, margin) for the Region

  • Cultivate relationships with Senior leaders at Key customers and build an understanding of the market and competitive landscape

  • Draw on Available Resources (outside of BU) to achieve Geographic, Market, Product & Account Specific Objectives

  • Standard work: Implement & Execute Standard work (Performance & Development metrics, Daily Management, Funnel Review, Forecasting, Account Management, Opportunity Plans etc.)

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of company policies & procedures along-with BU directives

  • Implement, Sustain and Adjust Engagement Action plan (as deemed vital) to drive engagement across APAC sales Org.

  • Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive APAC sales organization

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's’ Degree in any engineering field, particularly C· Degree in Engineering or related science field

  • 10+ years in a sales leadership role

  • Proven track record in strategic selling to large global enterprises with multi location footprint.

  • Demonstrates expertise in partnering with customers, building sustainable relationships and using customer insights to address their unmet and evolving needs

  • Demonstrates ability to understand sophisticated account interdependencies to develop & sustain short, mid & long-term plans in conjunction with other partners.

  • Demonstrates the ability to mentor others on effective communication techniques as well as listen to others and integrate alternate points of view in decisions and ideas

  • Applies in-depth knowledge of the business climate, market dynamics and trends as well as overall market potential based on unique opportunities and risks in the local markets in order to develop plans and integrate them to achieve results

  • Ability to manage senior leadership teams across the APAC region.

  • Ability to work with associates of different cultures

  • Ability to extensively travel across the region and internationally as required, up to 30%
