Essential Functions:

• Ensure customer orders are processed efficiently, correctly, and on time.

• Perform and oversee all responsibilities of the Main Production team.

• Organize and monitor the daily operations of the Main Production.

• Interpret QC results and recognize when failures warrant further investigation.

• Troubleshoot instrument problems encountered.

• Ensure all work instructions and logs are current and correct.

• Assist in quality management events and processes.

• Perform decontamination of equipment and workspace.

• Aid the HTQC, Shipping, FED and Customer Care team with issues that may arise.

• Run interview and hiring process for positions in Main Production.

• Provide support for qualified trainers and training for new Associates and new procedures.

• Assist in responding to chemical spills.

• Inform Manufacturing Manager on the daily operation of the Main Production Department.

• Evaluate associate’s performance (confirmation/P4G) and organize training for Main Production Associates (D4G).

• Perform assignments as designated by Management.

• Be aware of the quality policy and contribute to achieving quality goals by following all related procedures and work instructions. And by doing so adhere to the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard applied within the company, where applicable.

• Practice safe working habits, follow all safety policies, perform safety checks on equipment and systems, and identify, correct, and report potential safety hazards.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in science related field or an equivalent combination of education & experience required.

Professional Experience:

• Have at least 1 year’s experience as a Team Leader or prior related laboratory experience or per Performance Review

• Must have learned and understand the basic and more in depth aspects of the oligonucleotide manufacturing process and can apply them.

• Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.
