Danaher Corporation Vendor Master Data Intern in Sint-Denijs-Westrem, Belgium
The Vendor Master Data Cleansing Intern will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the vendor master records for Esko worldwide and will be involved in the preparation of the new SRM deployment.The duties will involve enriching the current data, and the cleansing of duplicates and redundant data. The Intern’s activities are not only limited to improving the quality of the VMD to meet the SRM requirements, as they will also strive to achieve efficiencies in the VMD criteria and process inline with industry standards.The role is a fantastic opportunity to work cross functionally within a global company, while gaining an in-depth knowledge of the complex VMD structures within a finance and procurement environment.
Main responsibilities and key activities:
Prepare Vendor Master data for implementation of Supplier Relationship Management automation and assist with testing and implementation
Review and validate existing vendor data
Identify and remove duplicate vendors
Identify and remove obsolete data and replace with updated and relevant data
Flag unused or under utilised vendors to be blocked
Updating of the financial approval dimensions maintained in the VMD
Suggest optimisation and efficiency opportunities within vendor onboarding and creation process.
Qualifications and professional knowledge:
= The technical or specific knowledge required to perform the job successfully (e.g. diploma and/or level of education required for the job, languages, programming languages, duration of experience …)
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Power BI are a benefit
Proficient knowledge in MS Office, Excel essential
Excellent command of English
