The Opportunity

To act as the Aerospace ANZ project engineer to support the sustainment of locally developed products, engineered solutions and services.

Job Description

  • To assist with the development of project technical scope of work and acceptance requirements.

  • The establishment and control of technical and quality documentation related to equipment and services.

  • Handle equipment baseline configuration in accordance with Pall Engineering Change Process.

  • Set and agree task delivery timelines with Senior Project Manager.

  • Develop innovative concepts and provide technical feedback to support proposal generation.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Through Life Support strategies.

  • Manage engineering risk.

  • Assist with the producing ROM costs for project preliminary assessment.

Essential Job Functions (95%)

  • Planning and execution of project engineering tasks and produce engineering artefacts to support technical investigations of in-service equipment.

  • Establish and maintain engineering records including engineering drawings, Bill of Materials, technical and procurement specifications.

  • Establish Product Lifecycle Management processes.

  • Raise Statement of Works where required.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement utilizing Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.

Will be required to (5%)

  • Work with Sales, Project and Contract Management associates to deliver contractual requirements.

Key Requirements & Competencies

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Member of Engineers Australia. Accredited or working towards Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status is highly desirable.

  • Experience with project engineering experience in an industrial sector.

  • Familiar with Mechanical, hydraulic engineering principles and Systems engineering principles

  • Proven experience using Catia V5 to develop large assemblies and produce detailed engineering drawing packs. Experience in Generative Drafting, MS Excel & MS Word.

  • Proficient in technical report writing and working in a PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) environment.

  • Required to work flexible hours over different time zones and be prepared to travel interstate as required.
