The Sales Manager actively promotes and sells Pall Aerospace products and services to new and existing customers. The incumbent is customer focused and creates new value by driving territory plans and high levels of effective customer activity; and therefore, increases market share, achieves competitive advantage and differentiation while delivering profitable growth for Pall.
Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve order, revenue, and margin projections
Identify and manage new market opportunities in CRM
Prepare & complete weekly call plans, meeting plans & associated customer visit reports to meet agreed sales projections
Rigorously drive the Sales Process and track sales funnel health and shape using DBS tools including CRM funnel management.
Create detailed customer plans for assigned accounts that identifies short, medium and long-term sales potential, opportunities, operating structure, contacts, and other relevant information, and present this data at regular Sales Funnel Management calls.
Strategically grow the existing customer base and build close customer relationships to understand the customer needs, expectations, wants and demands to provide customer solutions
Penetrate target accounts with high levels of customer activity
Collaborate with industry contacts and other Pall business units to discover and develop new customer leads
Drive Sales of existing and new products including Direct Touch and Critical Initiative products
Provide technical and commercial support to customers and utilise the Aerospace marketing materials SharePoint site, Pall Website, Customer Presentations and product data sheets
Track Competitor Activity and provide differentiation to gain market share
Regularly collaborate with Sales Management and Marketing
Draw on Available Resources as Needed to Achieve Regional, Market, Product or Account Specific Objectives
Implement strategies to further develop key accounts and develop target accounts into key accounts
Conduct / attend seminars, training, trade conferences, etc as required.
Perform with integrity
At all times the incumbent must preserve the confidentiality of customer’s applications and to be responsible to the safe operation and storage of all company property including but not limited to the company’s motor vehicle, mobile phone and laptop computer
Perform Other Duties as Required
Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering related field or extensive relevant work experience
Experienced in solution selling of technical / mechanical / heavy machineries
Knowledge of Aerospace industry practices in any of the following areas/industries is desirable:
Military aviation; and
Military Land and Sea environments.
Knowledge of CRM Systems (SAP, Sales Force, Oracle etc.)
Consultative Skills - Ability to Collaborate with Senior Level Decision Makers, and share competitive advantage of Pall products vs the competition
Tactfulness to understand cultural knowledge and sensitivity
Ability to travel 30% of the year at the minimum
