We are looking for a ​ Senior Purification Development Scientist ​ to work with our expert ​ Membrane Chromatography Development ​ team with employees across the world. Do you have a passion for ​ d eveloping the next generation of purification technology ​ ? Then we would love to hear from you.

You will report to the Team Leader for Applications and Analytics . This is a lab based role (70% of the time)

What you’ll do

• Work closely with a cross-disciplinary R&D team of Biologists, Chemists, Engineers and Material Scientists to support process development activities .

• ​ ​ Design and develop experiments and methods for product characterisation ​

• Provide support to ensure laboratory compliance to Environment Health & Safety regulations

• ​ ​ B alanc e your workload across multiple development projects. ​

• ​ ​ Write reports and interrogate data generated from various analytical methods. ​

• Help develop the Fibro technology platform and launch new products .

• Help to follow up post-product launch with Customer Care activities.

• Will be responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout all lab processes.

• ​ ​ Prepare and present data internally in the form of pr e sentations, technical reports, memos and eLNs . ​

  Who you are

• ​ ​ Hold a bioscience-based PhD (Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering , Biochemical Engineering or similar) with 3 + years of industrial experience ​

• You will have experience in tech transfer and/or analytical method validation

• You will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and sticking to critical project timelines

• ​ ​ Demonstrable u nderstanding of chromatography unit operations, including scale-up ​

• ​ ​ Confident participating and presenting in teams within a matrix environment ​

• Experience in developing new methods

• ​ ​ Organised, self-starting, innovative, collaborative and hardworking ​
