Job Title : Applications Specialist - Nordic Region

Location: Stockholm

Reporting to : Nordic Service Leader

Location : Home or office based - Primarily supporting the Nordic countries and if required the whole Northern Region which includes UK and Ireland.

The Product Application Support is a field-based position responsible for primarily customer retention, including company and product acceptance. The primary function is to perform demonstrations, conduct instrument installations, solve customer’s clinical application problems, provide training to our customers, and provide technical applications support to Sales Representatives.

Job Purpose: * To install and commission Beckman Coulter (BC) analysers. * To provide technical support of the BC reagent range. * To perform in-house training on BC equipment. * To perform on-site training on BC equipment. * To maintain relationship with all sites in area of responsibility. * To maintain personal knowledge development. * To provide technical help in tender offers

* Knowledge, Experience, Personal Requirements & Benefits: * * A qualification in Biochemistry is preferable. * Min 3 years’ experience in the Medical Diagnostics industry/hospital, Laboratory experience preferable. * Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices, including a knowledge of clinical chemistry and immunoassay. * A self-motivated individual who has an enthusiastic approach to customer service and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * IT literate. * The ability to adhere to company policies and procedures. * The ability to provide remote and on-site customer application support for respective product line(s) across Nordic Region and Northern Europe region where required. * The ability to provide effective second line application support across Nordic Region. * The ability to achieve departmental goals and objectives to meet the company’s operational plan. * The ability to help answering tender offers. * Driving license is essential * Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills both in Swedish and English * Willingness to travel up to 45% (nationally and pan-European), but it can vary over a period of time. * The successful candidate will be offered a competitive package including a generous base salary, company car, company bonus, other benefits, on the job training and an opportunity to grow within the company.
