The Account Manager Genomic Medicine (f/m/d) - Southern Germany for Cytiva is responsible to develop the growth strategy in that region.

This position is part of the Genomic Sales Team and will be fully remote. The suitable candidate should live in the region of Southern Germany (Tübingen, Stuttgart etc.). At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Represent Cytiva and act as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for specific Genomic Medicine segment

  • Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account

  • Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations

  • Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization

  • Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or relevant field

  • Several years of commercial experience in the Biotechnology industrial sector

  • Territories sales planning and business market knowledge

  • Sales technique including cross selling, upselling, value positions, solution selling and funnel management

  • Very good MS-Office skills, QlikSense and Sales Force would be an advantage

  • Very good English and German language skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • working in a bigger international environment, but not a must
