Danaher Corporation Accounting Admin in Sunnyvale, California

We are seeking an Admin to suppot the North America Accounting team. This role will report to the North American Controller with a dotted line to the Controllers direct reports (team of 5). This role will support the team in various Administrative function such as scheduling team meetings/events, training and procedural documentation, PO creation, policy updates.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Administrator of company Intranet for North American Controller’s Organization

  • Requires working with various managers to align website to desired content and structure

  • Annual review with managers of content and updating where necessary

  • Formalize unified desktop procedure documentation for Organization.

  • Work with managers to determine current information available and where holes are.

  • Work with owners to create missing procedures

  • Publish and review annually with teams to ensure they are still up to date

  • Provide appropriate documentation to new hires

  • Work with Managers to develop New hire & Brown Bag training programs (Payroll, Capital Acquisition, T&E AP, credit, Accruals etc.)

  • Create documentation

  • Schedule training programs

  • Annually review and update training programs as appropriate

  • Assist in Documenting & Updating of Policies and Procedures for various functions (credit policy, T&E policy, Pcard Policy, Balance Sheet recon, requesting time off, Concur FAQ & How To’s, Etime manager instruction etc.)

  • Meet with owners to understand policy/procedure

  • Create draft and review with manager

  • Finalize and publish

  • Coordinate needed Compliance wire training

  • Assist team with Contract/Purchase Order creation process

  • Assist team with scheduling team events

  • Ad Hoc requests

  • Compiling audit requests

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or an Associates degree

  • Prior Admin experience a plus

  • Minimum 5 years work experience

Knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizations skills

  • Excellent Time Management Skills

  • Self-Starter

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment
