Danaher Corporation Process Engineering Technician in Sunnyvale, California
The Process Engineering Technician works closely with the Process and Automation Development team to support process characterization and validation of assembly equipment. The successful candidate will support equipment and process trouble-shooting, execute complex detailed test procedures with input from engineers.
This is a hands-on position involving operating automated and semi-automated equipment, components testing, parts handling, and equipment adjustment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute experiments related to process development and/or improve existing assembly processes.
Execute validation runs on new equipment and process.
Work closely with raw material supply team to support the engineering and validation runs.
Work closely with online and offline testing groups to perform functional test on components.
Perform component testing and prepare reports.
Provide feedback and recommendations on existing procedures and protocols.
Working with Engineering to team to improve manufacturability of designs
Comply with company safety procedures.
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
Education and Experience (in years):
High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of related work experience OR
AA or Technical Trade Degree with 5+ years of related work experience.
Knowledge and skills:
Self-starting, motivated individual with proven track record of learning new skills to achieve results.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in clean room environment.
Ability to use hand or power tools.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, push
Associate degree in a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of related experience as process engineering technician or R&D technician.
Prior experience in biomedical device assembly process development
