The Production Planner role is responsible for developing production/supply plans that take in to account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity. Critical proven activities should include OEE improvements, anticipation of cross functional business requirements, development of strategy for project execution, coordination of multi-echelon implementations, and full accountable for targeted business deliverables. In charge of production plan scheduling across multiple sites in a high complexity environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Own assay finished goods production orders and work requests in SAP, including creation and scheduling based on Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
Assure schedule adherence and mitigation of loss of capacity on finished goods manufacturing equipment by coordinating with Materials Planning, Consumables Planning, Stockrooms, Logistics, and Demand Planning. If assurance cannot be secured, escalate to Higher Management
Investigate non-conformances caused by actions owned by Finished Goods Supply Planning, write and submit investigation reports and shepherd them to closure with Quality Compliance; analyze using SAP, and other business tools root causes of non-adherence to production plans, and present analysis to Higher Management with recommendations for CAPAs
Understand restrictions at different nodes of the supply chain and collaborate with stakeholders based on a holistic understanding of those restrictions and product demand to drive outcomes that maximize customer service under those constraints
Frame and present workarounds to Higher Management to articulation of threats to supply continuity based on anticipated disruption in any factor that impact supply continuity: materials, constraints, equipment, labor, demand, etc
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience ORMaster’s degree in field with 0-2+ years of related work experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Life sciences/ process industry manufacturing experience
ERP, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft experience
SQL and or business analytics tools experience
