Danaher Corporation Project Manager - Channels & Innovation in Sunnyvale, California


  • Responsible for leading projects and initiatives pertaining to the channel delivery model & Innovation for the support delivery for the Customer Care, Americas organization

  • Be an innovation advocate for opportunities to improve the delivery of services through existing and new channels based on customer insights and leading industry trends

  • Utilize standard project management tools and methodologies to manage, capture deliverables, track progress and drive accountability for the program and associated projects or workstreams

  • Define program resource needs, negotiate program resourcing plans and track resource usage over the course of the program

  • Interface with external vendors, as required, to ensure appropriate engagement and accountability in conjunction with internal resources and activities

  • Ensure effective communications with stakeholders, using a variety of tools and channels

  • Prepare, maintain, and present monthly program updates, action plans, and status reports for leadership reviews

  • Operate as a change champion and actively gather metrics and feedback to measure program effectiveness

  • Identify risks or challenges which could impact the program timeline and/or deliverables and develop mitigation plans to utilize in the event problems do arise

  • Work independently and complete basic problem solving

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects within a formalized Project Management Organization (PMO) structure


  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time


Education and Experience (in years):

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience

  • Master’s degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to adapt to change, proactively manage risks, clear roadblocks, and effectively communicate end-to-end program health

  • Successfully manage and lead teams in a completely remote work environment

  • Ability to use Visual Project Management methodology to manage programs / projects

  • Proven ability to quickly build trusted relationships at all levels of an organization, from SMEs to senior executives

  • In depth knowledge of Project Management applications, such as MS Project, JIRA, Miro

  • Experience using Business software to include: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Conferencing Applications (MS Teams, Zoom)

  • Advanced problem-solving, conflict resolution, active listening, and time management skills

  • Experience with analytics and understanding of support metrics and KPIs

  • Ability to collect information from multiple sources, sort through, integrate, and resolve often conflicting requirements, and drive an organization through the various issues to resolution

  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal oriented and time-sensitive environment

  • Ability to learn quickly and pick up tools, systems, and processes in a short amount of time.

  • Lean awareness and ideally experience of structured continuous improvement (Daily Management, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Kaizen, and Gemba Walks)


  • PMP Certification

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in an FDA regulated Environment. Medical device or pharmaceutical preferred.
