The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions to support the Commercial Team, including supporting the HRBP’s in the areas of talent management, talent acquisition, benefits, leave and enforcing company policies and practices.


  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory trainings

  • Support the HRBP’s on Talent Acquisition and Talent Management activities, will be responsible for running reports and following through with Leaders on completion for the Commercial team

  • Support the Commercial team during Performance Cycle, D&I initiatives, Compensation planning and Promotion periods, will also support with monthly reports for Finance.

  • Will be responsible for HR Ops support (intake forms, onboarding and offboarding support). Support the COVID intakes and WD entries

  • Auditing Associate Files – Career Profiles, Development Plans, midyear and annual reviews when requested by managers

  • Support with SAW's/Temps onboarding and offboarding

  • General inquiries from employees about LOA, tuition reimbursement, PTO/Bereavement/Jury Duty policies, employment verification, paycheck/W2 issues

  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management, recognition, training and development

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education or Experience (in years):

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience OR

  • Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.

  • SHRM-CP a plus.

    Knowledge and skills:

  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, etc., which govern employment policies and practices

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas

  • Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Ability to work in an office environment
