Essential Job Responsibilities
Forms and leads cross-functional supply chain operations teams comprised of manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, supplier development, planning, logistics and CM to transfer products
Services as a single point of contact to the supply chain team to confirm supplier and production readiness for capacity and new design implementation
Managers transition of new refurbished products form development to pilot production and finally to volume production
Analysis of total cost of goods for each project.
Strong alignment with Quality and Regulatory such that compliance to standards is adhered to.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Leadership skills
Minimum Job Requirements
Education or Experience
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of related work experience or Masters degree in field with 3+ years of experience
Knowledge and skills
Experience with ERP systems
Ability to provide clear feedback to engineering teams on process or product design issues that will result in quality, cost or cycle time improvements
Clear understanding of Bill of materials costing
Experience with new supplier qualification process
Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce.com, Agile
