We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for UK South (f/m/d) who will be responsible for our Genomics Product Line and who will report to the European Senior Sales Manager (Genomics). This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the South of the UK, preferred London or Oxford area.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Identify and develop relationships with industrial, academic and hospital customers and use these relationships to develop development strategies for the Genomics range.

  • Produce a detailed business plan according to the company's strategic targets for assigned customers and territories.

  • To perform all sales activity within the assigned geographic territory such as customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, customer seminars and channel management.

  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements with back office; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements as per Beckman Coulter and Danaher business practices.

  • To increase awareness of the Beckman Coulter Genomics product brands by organizing and attending exhibitions, seminars and other events and by conducting direct marketing initiatives alongside other promotional activities as required.

  • To involve technical personnel to resolve customers issues and problems as needed.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • The ideal candidate will be educated to a higher degree in Biology, preferred Molecular Biology background. A Master degree is an advantage.

  • A good team spirit mind set.

  • Good organizational skills (time and territory management).

  • Solid understanding of sales skills as prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers are strongly preferred.

  • An experience in Next Generation Sequencing is highly desirable.

  • Fluent in English

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • A previous experience of technical selling within the Life Science, Industrial and/or Academic sector.

  • Laboratory or Process experiences are an advantage.

  • Located in Southern UK.
