Danaher Corporation Senior Clinical Sales Executive in Takanini, Auckland, New Zealand

The Senior Clinical Sales Executive is responsible for managing and driving growth of the Cepheid business in their designated territory by:

  • fostering KOL/KVL growth

  • maintaining key customer/senior manager relationships within customer organization/buying groups.

The Senior Clinical Sales Executive will work through the entire hospital/laboratory network to ensure Cepheid products and services are known in every key department and by all key decision makers. This may include laboratory, infection control, quality assurance, executive staff and physicians to develop needs, gain consensus and close new business.

The Senior Clinical Sales Executive will report to the National Sales and Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proven track record of exceeding growth targets year on year.

  • Independently manages own workload with minimal supervision.

  • Through internal and customer collaboration, drive and tailor customer specific sales strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute a consultative sale approach.

  • Take the lead as required for a national account and/or buying group.

  • Understand and know customer, clinical environment, competitor and market to develop breakthrough strategies and plans to drive growth leveraging Cepheid solution.

  • Quickly assesses new situations, demonstrate flexibility in thinking and matches approach to the demands of the situation.

  • Achieving Sales targets in the designated Territory.

  • Provide regular presentations, education to customer and business partners – introducing product clinical values and techniques for product promotion.

  • Coordinate scheduling of other Cepheid resource utilization within the Territory including Applications, Marketing, Field Service Engineer(s), Customer Care and Office Management.

  • Demonstrate product features to meet customers’ unmet needs.

  • Collecting, analyzing and sharing market information (public procurements, competitors, business partners).

  • Develop strategic plans to drive business in the designated Territory.

  • Manage contract compliance.

  • Host and assist with trade shows.

  • Manage customer data in the company CRM.
