Reporting to the Director, Cybersecurity, the Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for supporting the execution of data privacy and cybersecurity initiatives across the Water Quality Platform (WQP) OpCos. This WQP role will collaborate with OpCo associates and other WQP IT Shared Services associates to ensure we are implementing security best practices that protect our customers’ and associates data and meet relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
Preferred BA or BS degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Preferred experience effectively working within cybersecurity domains
Preferred knowledge of cloud and IoT security best practices and relevant frameworks
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Great attitude and work ethic
Experience in global, matrix organization a plus
Ability to effectively partner and support cross-functional teams
Ability to deal with conflict, and manage expectations

Supports the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives for the WQP
Work with Sr. Cybersecurity team members on security initiatives and escalate appropriately
Supports incident response execution and investigation
Incorporates security validation and support for vulnerability remediation into IT standard work
Supports the communication of the security initiatives
Supports product and IOT security
Performs cybersecurity monitoring and metrics reporting
Supports penetration testing, monitoring and issue resolution
Support incident response investigations and documentation
Detect, identify and remediate cybersecurity threats to protect the brand
Strategic Thinking and Leadership – Capable of supporting a desired future state (vision) through influence on company values, security best practice, and security execution of Danaher cybersecurity initiatives.
Impact – Collaborates with WQP IT OpCos and WQP shared services IT. Creating partner relationships to improve and grow the WQP security stature. Be able to immediately establish credibility within the organization and with partners.

Light to moderate travel (10-20%) is required with visits to OpCos in North America, and Europe.

- Support WQP OpCos in security execution of security initiatives and objectives. Focus on cross-functional solutions, leveraging talent across the WQP.
Maintain centralized standards, processes and documentation to support WQP in security execution.
Provide support for WQP incident response and remediation
Centralized Security Administration:
- Ensure centralized and standardized processes to support the WQP and WQP OpCo IT in security execution of Danaher security objectives
Ensure metrics are best in class
