The Account Manager-sales and support is responsible for clinical support and promoting Cepheid products among current and potential customers , professional education for stakeholders , effective and strong collaboration with other commercial organization , and d eveloping KOL/KVL growth in Indonesia.
The Account Manager-sales and support will report to the Business Manager based in Malaysia.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting the commercial organization in reaching business goals by delivering high growth numbers and supporting growing customer base
Develops and maintains clinical communications to drive and support appropriate product utilization
Interact and drive key opinion/visionary leaders in field of expertise for commercial support/use
P rovide regular presenta tions, education to customer and business partners – introducing pro duct clinical values and techniques for product promotion
Able to provide clinical and technical support to marketing/sales activities
Demonstrates product features to meet customers’ unmet needs
Collecting, analyzing and sharing market information (public procurements, competitors, business partners)
Support commercial marketing organization with launch and rollout of new products and services as needed within the territory
Understand and know clinical environment, competitor products – continuous development of the knowledge
Participate in industry symposia, medical meetings, and monitor ing the industry landscape
Participate in commercial activities with non-clinical stakeholders
Develops strategic plans to drive business
Develop and manage local partner sales targets and KPIs, evaluate partner performance and drive partner revenue achievement.
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
Education and Experience (in years):
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience OR
Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
Bachelors / master’s degree in medical or biotech
5 years or above of sales & product / distributor management experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge and skills:
Previous experience in the diagnostic industry is required , preferably in molecular diagnostic
Outstanding interpersonal, selling, public speaking, presentation, influencing a nd negotiation skills
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Creativity, high level of motivation, ethical approach in achieving business goals
High level of energy, engagement and responsibility
Mobility (availability to travel frequently)
Ability to work independently and manage time /priorities
Ability to adapt and react to dynamic and changing circumstances in the market
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives & goals
Good verbal and written skills in English & Bahasa Indonesia
- Role requires travel of up to 70% and may include some international travel
