The Logistics Support role for Cytiva will work close with the logistics operational team to guarantee a smooth transition of product from Suppliers to Global Life Sciences Solutions New Zealand (Cytiva) and then to the Customer. The Logistics Support will also work along with Quality Assurance team in the receipting process of consumables and raw materials on site, and Manufacturing team with the provision of raw material and consumables for meeting Production schedule. This will be achieved in the most cost effective and timely manner, while ensuring Safety and Quality are paramount.
This position is part of the Logistics team located in Whakamarama, Tauranga and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Liaise with Suppliers, Logistics providers and Cytiva associates to ensure the smooth running of the logistics in our supply chain.
Maintain all required files and spreadsheets to ensure full traceability at all times.
Maintain stock control spreadsheets updated and perform cycle counts.
Complete all documentation required for import and export.
Maintain on-site and off-site inventory accuracy as well as maintaining the warehouse audit-ready at all times.
Support New Zealand and Australia Logistics team.
Maintaining a positive site culture – EHS, Sustainability and Quality.
Carry out or participate in projects to ensure continuous improvement in the Logistics Department.
Any other tasks that may be reasonably requested.
The essential requirements of the job include:
An experienced supply chain or logistics person with manufacturing experience.
A well-organized person who aligns to our culture of Transparency and trust.
Experience and/or formal training in NZFSA systems compliance, especially in an import/export role.
Competent user of ERP systems, Oracle preferred, intermediate to advanced Excel user.
Flexible working hours will be expected.
Current OHS Certificate for the operation of the forklift.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
MPI E-certs and OMARs.
AP Biosecurity Certification.
CGMP experience.
DG/Hazardous Goods License.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
