Danaher Corporation DBS Project Coordinator in Tijuana, Mexico

The DBS Project Coordinator is responsible for promoting the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Mammotome and will assist in DBSO Translation Project in direct collaboration with Danaher.

This role is also responsible for assisting continuous improvement of all processes across all functions on the site and to continuously support in the organization’s DBS knowledge development.

In this role, the associate will spend 50% of their time working with the Danaher Business System Office (DBSO). They will be responsible for organized, timely, and accurate project coordination to include:

Translations (25%)

As the official Spanish translator for the DBSO, they will perform the “in-country” review of all documents, eLearning modules, and websites as needed

Own the timely project coordination and Daily Management of all DBSO translations (up to 7 languages), to include updating the Action Plan and providing regular status updates.

eLearning Module Testing & Quality Assurance (15%)

Perform User Acceptance Testing in conjunction with the DBS Learning Manager to ensure all new eLearning modules function properly inside of Workday

Tool Document Version Control and Reinforcement (5%)

Aid with uploading tool documents and performing QA/QC of document naming, revision control of DBS tools on Danaher Connect

Associate Value Proposition (AVP) Conversion (5%)

Convert legacy PowerPoint tool documents into the “new” template

The other 50% of the associate’s time will be focused on local Mammotome activities, supporting DBSL including the following activities:

Assist in driving and promoting successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process. (Preparation and execution)

Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in some DBS tools

Provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching to direct and indirect associates

Support with 5S and sustainment audits and prepare various data summaries on DBS activities and KPIs

In collaboration with DBS Manager assist working on a DBS road map /strategy for the site

Support with the maintenance and updates of the Kaizen funnel and prepare summaries as needed.

Support with administration of the CP funnel in collaboration with DBS Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

  • High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 1-2 years of relevant work experience

    Knowledge and skills:

  • Good communication and presentations skills, both written and oral to build trusting partnership with key stakeholders to deliver solutions.

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.

  • Ability to summarize/explain / present training in technical and non-technical terms.

  • Self-motivated, highly focused, detail oriented as well as a team player with high energy levels and the desire to learn and progress within the company.

  • · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Technologically savvy and open to learning new SaaS tools like Miro and Poppulo
