The Senior IT Support Technician for Mammotome is responsible for ensuring a high performance of the service and customer satisfaction in the function that is the face of IT. The Senior IT Support Technician is part of the global IT Support and End User Services organization and manages supports end users and their workplace equipment in their respective region. The Senior IT Support Technician reports to the Regional Team Lead IT End User Support & Services.
This position is part of the IT team located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and will be on-site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Ticket Management: Responding to, triaging, and resolving tickets based on Knowledge Base articles, Standard Work, and public information, with escalation as required.
Hardware and Software Support: Installation, configuration, and support of all hardware (e.g., laptops, desktops, printers, phones) and software (e.g., Windows, Microsoft Office, company applications).
User and Network Management: Management of Users and Groups in Active Directory, support and troubleshooting of telephony systems, and basic support and troubleshooting of network components such as switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Completed IT apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable experience / knowledge
Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role
Excellent command of English language, both oral and written, additional languages are a plus
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Technical Proficiency: Professional-level experience with IT hardware, MS Windows (Client and Server), MS Office, M365, and other desktop and server applications. Networking knowledge, including troubleshooting switches, firewalls, routers, and Wifi.
Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written), leadership skills to manage contractors, and the ability to create and maintain professional business relationships.
Travel Requirement: Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
