Pall Corporation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to promote and facilitate continuous improvement through the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System. The DBSE will support the Supply Chain, Operations, and Value Stream Managers in the implementation of DBS Fundamentals and Lean methodologies at Gemba to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

This position is an integral part of the Global Operations team and will be located in Timonium, Maryland.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as a change facilitator, developing and collaboration with operation leadership in the transformation and support of a continuous improvement culture.

  • Assist in the implementation of the plants DBS Strategy and Vision.

  • Facilitate and conduct kaizens and bootcamps in DBS Fundamentals and DBS Lean tools.

  • Work in cross-functional teams and matrix environments across multiple organizations.

  • Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, Project Managers, and practitioners including effective coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Facilitate Problem Solving efforts across the operation to define root cause, and implementation of temporary and permanent countermeasures.

  • Implementation of Lean Conversion and removal of “muda” waste within operations.

  • Implementation and facilitation of Visual Daily Management.

  • Develop DBS muscle to be the next organizational leader with skills learned from DBS implementation and facilitation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Engineering, and/or Supply Chain with 4+ years of business/operations management or manufacturing experience with management responsibilities

  • Fundamental understanding of Lean Tools and DBS Fundamentals.

  • Hands-on Gemba experience with driving improvement efforts either with use of kaizen facilitation, use of lean tools, or problem-solving methodology. (Visual Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)

  • Analytical Skills; working with large data sets.

  • Strong interpersonal and communications as well as group facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating.
